Xslimmer – Your Mac, on a Diet!

If you use a Mac and want to easily get some of that wasted hard drive space back on your system, then you have to take a look at Xslimmer.  Xslimmer is a mac application that analyses your systems applications and saves your space by removing unused binary data in univeral binary applications and unused language packs.

If your worried that you might break the application, you have the option of creating a backup first so if you do have an issue you can easily go back to what you had and if it works you can just delete the back up.  They have also introduced a black list for known applications that can’t be slimmed down so you have a minimal chance of having a problem after the application is slimmed down.
